About

What this service is, and what it is not

A short, honest description of what this service is and what it is not.

What this site is

Montgomery County Foundation Repair is a lead referral and matching service for homeowners in Montgomery County, Alabama and the surrounding River Region. Its job is narrow: collect enough detail about a foundation problem to be useful, then hand that detail to a foundation repair contractor who serves the area, so the homeowner does not have to work through a search results page calling numbers at random.

What this site is not

We are not a contractor. We do not perform inspections, pour concrete, drive piers, dig drains or level floors. We do not hold a residential home builder license from the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board or a license from the Alabama Licensing Board for General Contractors, because we do not perform construction work and are not required to. We do not maintain a physical office open to the public, and you will not find a street address on this site, because publishing one we do not operate would be dishonest.

We also do not publish claims we cannot back up. There are no invented completion counts on this site, no fabricated ratings, no stock photographs presented as local work, and no statements about the credentials of any specific contractor. If you find something on this site that reads as a claim about a business's history, credentials or performance, it is either sourced or it should not be there.

How we are paid

Homeowners pay nothing. This service is compensated by the contractor who receives the referral. That is a normal arrangement in this industry and you should know about it, because it means our incentive is to send you to someone who converts, and your job is still to verify that they are the right person for your house. Get more than one quote. Ask for the license. Compare scope, not just price.

Why we built it around Montgomery County specifically

Generic national foundation sites tell every homeowner in the country the same thing about expansive clay. That advice happens to be broadly right in Lowndes County and broadly wrong in northern Elmore County, and it is only partly right inside the Montgomery city limits, where the U.S. Geological Survey maps four different Coastal Plain divisions inside one county line. Local specificity is not decoration here. It changes the diagnosis and it changes the bill.

Coverage

We route requests from Montgomery County, including Montgomery, Pike Road, Hope Hull, Pintlala, Mount Meigs and Ramer, and from nearby communities in Autauga, Elmore, Macon and Lowndes counties. The full list is on the service areas page.
